25. How should I prep my dress for wear on my big day?

The day of your wedding, you can remove the all the wrapping that holds your dress. Leave your dress hanging on the hanger it came with as long as possible. If you’d like to photograph your dress on a decorative hanger, make sure you put your dress back on its hanger afterwards. Most decorative hangers are just not strong enough to hold the gown.
